Nigerian Air Force Deals Blow to Terrorism: Hundreds of Terrorists Killed in Zamfara State Airstrikes
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has carried out successful air strikes in Zamfara State, targeting and killing scores of terrorists in a significant blow to their operations. These strikes were part of Operation Fasan Yamma, aimed at curbing banditry and terrorism in the region. The airstrikes specifically targeted terrorist hideouts and convoys, resulting in significant losses for the terrorists, including the destruction of motorcycles and strongholds.
In one notable operation, NAF aircraft neutralized 20 terrorists and destroyed 21 motorcycles in Zamfara State. Additionally, there were reports of airstrikes hitting terrorist strongholds in areas like Tsafe and Shinkafi local government areas, further weakening their operational capabilities. These military operations underscore the Nigerian government’s commitment to restoring peace and security in the affected regions. The NAF’s efforts have also led to the rescue of kidnapped victims who were being held by bandits in their enclaves.
