Kwara Governor Constructs State-of-the-Art Model School to Boost Basic Education
Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to transforming the education sector with the construction of a modern prototype KwaraLEARN school in Ilorin. The model facility, located at Adeta Primary School, is designed to enhance the quality of learning and provide a conducive environment for young pupils.
Features of the Model School

The multistorey complex is being constructed to world-class standards and will feature:
- 45 classrooms (15 each for pre-primary, lower primary, and upper primary levels)
- Administrative offices, including a headmaster’s office and staff rooms
- Science laboratories, art rooms, and ICT laboratories
- Modern library and outdoor play area
- Adequate toilet facilities for pupils and staff
Recruitment of Qualified Teachers
The administration has also recruited qualified teachers and ensured prompt payment of their salaries as part of its reform agenda.
Impact on Education
The project is poised to set a new benchmark for basic education infrastructure in the North Central region and beyond. Upon completion, the model school will serve as a template for future construction and help bridge the education gap, ensuring access to quality public education for all children in the state.
